Baltimore roots music variety show

War Memorial Arts Initiative, 101N. Gay Street, Baltimore, MD

One-part concert, (beginning at 8 PM) one-part PAE conference showcase (beginning at 9:15 PM). Also appearing will be Dovetail Ensemble, The Blue Rhythm Boys, Charm City Junction, and special guest, John Lilly. $15 for general public, $10 for seniors and students with ID, free for veterans and those with PAE conference badges.

South Carolina school visit and show at Seanachai Social Club

From Wednesday morning through Friday evening I'll be visiting three or four schools, leading a writing workshop, participating in a community-wide variety show, and doing more than all that.

Kansas City roots music variety show

The Brick, 1727 McGee St., Kansas City

Show also includes The Aching Hearts (from St. Louis), Spencer & Rains (from Lawrence), Switchback (from Indiana), Betse & Clarke (from KC), and undoubtedly some surprises. $10 (free for Arts Midwest attendees)
