Western Washington bookstore visit

Village Books, Bellingham

Too long since I've been to Bellingham and Village Books. Looking forward to coming and sharing what I've been up to. It's been eight years, I still have my fiddle, still have stories, and now have Trump Sonnets, a brand new book.

Seattle bookstore event

University Book Store, Seattle

More details as I have them, but I'll be there with Trump Sonnets and with fiddle and with stories from the road (and about the book). I'm waiting to see which Seattle music friend(s) will be by to join me for some tunes as part of the program. This will be a fun one. First public Seattle event in almost three years.

Olympia bookstore event

Orca Books, Olympia WA

It's been years and years since I've done anything in Olympia. But here's a cinco de mayo appearance, with Trump Sonnets.

rural Idaho residency--workshops, shows, class visits

venues in and around Salmon ID

I'll be spending two days leading a writing workshop, visiting schools, and will be doing a solo public show in one of the most beautiful places on the continent. Expect fun, inspiration, and surprises.

Cochise Community Creative Writing Celebration

Sierra Vista AZ

I'll be taking part in the annual Creative Writing Celebration sponsored by Cochise County Community College.

Mar17

Southern New Mexico St. Patrick's Day variety show

Flickinger Center, Alamogordo NM

I'll be joined by Bayou Seco (Ken Keppeler & Jeanie McLerie with Scott Mathis & Linda Askew), plus Steve Smith & Tim May. It will be an amazing St. Patrick's Day show, where Irish music meets indigenous New Mexico tunes. This will be part of a residency which will include three days of solo school visits and other outreach in the community.
