Plan is to return to Durham--the last of the fall conferences.
Preview of Trump Sonnets, Volume 2, which will be officially released in early 2018, plus Trump Sonnets, Volume 1. Plus there will be fiddling, other poems, stories, and a special guest or two. A perfect Halloween show!
For three days I'll be working in the schools and doing other events in the community--all still to be determined.
I'm looking forward to returning to Missoula and having some fun at John Parker's, which sounds like a blast. I expect a rotating cast of excellent local accompanists.
I'll be extending my Tacoma stay by hanging out at this poetry festival for a few days and participating in this small press bookfair as well as a few other events. It hearkens back to when I started touring and took part in the bookfair they used to have at Seattle's Bumbershoot Festival.
I've registered and paid, so will definitely be there from October 9-12 Looking forward to this.
I'll be doing something through the honors program on campus, plus am still waiting to hear about additional events in the community.
Back to Atlanta for another PAE conference.
Still ironing out final details for workshop and event in conjunction with the arts council's Arts in Action Festival. I expect there will be a workshop and a show.
5:15 writing workshop at Del Norte Reads space and then a 7 pm event at the public library. Thanks, too, the sponsors: Del Norte Reads, Del Norte Association of Cultural Awareness, and Poets & Writers. Earlier in the day I'll be visiting the local high school.
I'll be doing a performance/talk, then leading a writing workshop for interested attendees.
Another September, another conference (and another season to pick up jobs). This time it's back to Seattle.
Conference season again--looking forward to keeping at it and seeing lots of long-time friends.
Roots music variety where I'll be joined by The Aching Hearts (Ryan Spearman and Kelly Wells) out of St. Louis and by Detroit's own guitar-playing poet, Cal Freeman. Plus there will almost certainly be surprises.
I'm sure I'll be by. Lots of visiting lots of tunes, and the new book to show off.
Back in mid-March I stopped in Albuquerque early on for this store, and dropped a book off at this wonderful Indie bookstore. Now on July 1 I circle back on the tail end of this tour for a Trump Sonnets event.
I'll be explaining to high-schoolers how their writing can make a difference in their lives.
I'll be doing a show Saturday night, and almost certainly a workshop earlier in the day. More details as I have them. Super-excited about finally doing a public event here at this famed venue.
Great Basin College has branches all over the state. I'll be in Winnemucca on Friday for an event of some kind. More details as I have them.
