Writers Who Play at AWP

Co-producer, JIm Clark, and I will be bringing Writers Who Play to this year's AWP conference in Seattle. NIne years earlier we started the series
up the road in Vancouver. We expect to end it here, and we'll assemble the usual wonderful mix of writers who are also stellar musicians.

I'll be doing one private writing workshop for teens, one public writing workshop to get writers started on new pieces, and then an evening show titled FROM JACKSON TO JUNEAU. I expect to be solo, but, who knows, I might have a guest or two.

Fifth annual roots music variety show in conjunction with APAP conference. Some of the musicians include Brian Vollmer and Old Time Music Party featuring Ben Townsend, Dovetail Ensemble (Andrea Hoag, Phil Wiggins, Jodi Beder, Nic Gareiss, Baakari Wilder), 4TET (Nic Gareiss, Brittany Haas, Cleek Schrey, Jordan Tice), Wild Carrot (Pam Temple and Spencer Funk), Tom Bailey, and Caitlin Warbelow and the Manhattan Island Sessions (Dan Lowery, Martin O'Connell, Alan Murray, Anna Colliton). And there's going to be more going on than all that, including Stephanie Coleman.
