I'll be in Maryville for two or three days for a variety of activities, including a Friday night show, with a fine accompanist or two. More details as they unfold, but I'll almost certainly be doing outreach both at the college and in the community.

Virginia Beach show: From Tidewater to the Northern Lights

I'll be joined by a pair of multi-instrumentalists: Brian Vollmer from Binghamton NY, and Dan Margolies, who'll be moonlighting from his job as History professor at Virginia Wesleyan. Expect a fun evening of Appalachian string-band music, original poetry, and Alaska-set storytelling. Plus a surprise or two.

I'll be joined by multi-instrumentalist, Brian Vollmer, for a four-day run of PORTRAIT OF AN ARTIST AS SANTA CLAUS: it's one-part string-band concert, one-part literary reading, one-part storytelling evening, one-part gift exchange. We'll have ourselves some fun.
