Part of my month-long writing residency will include a visit to this very fine bookstore in downtown Fairhope. I'll have books (and CDs) for sale, and almost certainly will be playing a few fiddle tunes too.

Writing workshop from 5:30 to 7:30, and then we go down the street to Atomic Tom's for music, poetry, storytelling, and more. I'll have friends joining me. More details as I have them.
Thanks to Poets & Writers, the organization sponsoring the event, I'll be doing a full show with the phenomenal Lydia Garrison joining me. So there will be plenty of poetry on top of fiddle, banjo, guitar, and more. I've learned that William Seward, so instrumental in the purchase of Alaska, has Auburn roots. So, an Alaska show with Alaska poetry and storytelling! But also expect Lydia Garrison singing, and so much more!
I'll be visiting an elementary school and an intermediate school. Fun and inspiration for all!
